Based in Chingford/Waltham Abbey, we are council 5 Star rated Riding School and Livery Yard, offering stables and riding lessons to riders from all over London & Essex, aged 2yrs - 82yrs! We pride ourselves on our quality of lessons for beginners and advanced levels alike. We also offer activities such as Pony Days, Parties and Pony Clubs.
Hacks can also be booked by our advanced clients with access to The Royal Gunpowder Park that is on our doorstep and also the famous Epping Forest with its many bridle paths and beautiful scenery.

Welcome to Barnfields!
The stable code is compiled for the safety of customers, staff and horses. Take your time to familiarize yourself with the code and don´t hesitate to contact the staff if any questions should arise.
1. No dogs are allowed on site.
2. Filming/photography is not permitted without prior permission from staff or instructors.
3. Calm and composed behaviour is essential around horses. Horses are flight animals that can spook from sudden movements and loud noises.
4. Please do not enter the stable yard unless you are with a member of staff or your instructor. Entering the paddocks and pastures is also prohibited.
5. Feeding is planned carefully for each horse individually. Feeding extra could risk horses health or change horses behaviour and of course they may bite! That is why nothing should be fed to horses without staff permission.
