Underhill Riding Stables has grown from a green field surrounded by 100 acres of grass, woodland and hills into a busy family run riding school.

For nearly 30 years, we have been introducing our beautiful unspoilt Radnorshire countryside to people of all walks of life. Many months of the year are spent guiding our customers around our hills on our hand picked well presented horses and ponies, allowing them to appreciate the wonderful scenery and indigenous flora and fauna.

Visitors to the area and local customers are able to enjoy these wonderful surroundings on horseback by either making use of the lessons in one of our two outdoor arenas, or hacking out for a variety of lengths of rides. Take a leisurely hour around the farmland and hills for the less experienced, or go for longer rides up into Radnor Forest for a good long gallop for the more experienced rider.

In addition, Underhill has been a PONY CLUB CENTRE for nearly 20 years, turning it’s expertise towards the training of children of all ages and also the training of adults through BHS qualifications, both Riding and Horse Care, at present delivered in association with Haddon Training.
