Welcome to Glenleary Riding Centre! Our rules are compiled for the safety of customers, staff, and horses. Take your time to familiarise yourself with them, do not hesitate to contact the staff if any questions should arise.

1. Children must be supervised at all times.
2. No running or screaming in the yard. A calm and composed behaviour is essential around horses. Horses are flight animals that can spook at sudden movements and loud noises.
3. Do not enter the stables, arena, or fields without permission.
4. Dogs should be on the lead while visiting the stables.
5. Umbrellas are not to be used in the yard.
6. Do not feed the horses or ponies, even treats. Feeding is planned carefully for each horse individually. Hand feeding creates bad habits in our horses and ponies and is not allowed.
7. Every horse has its own fitted tack. Return all tack to the right place. If you do not know what to do ask a staff member for assistance.
8. No open-toed shoes (flip flops, crocs, sandals, etc) are allowed in the yard. Long trousers must be worn for horse riding (no shorts or skirts). All riders must wear a boot with a small heel.
9. Helmets must be securely fastened at all times whilst mounted. Only helmets that meet the current safety standards are permitted for use.
