Brookhill Farm is a full service equestrian center that takes pride in providing the highest quality service to our customers and a safe, caring environment for our horses staff and riders.
Our lesson program offers English horseback riding lessons in the following disciplines; hunters, show jumpers, equitation and concurrently hosts the University of Virginia (UVA) dressage team. The program has five (5) instructors with the ability to teach all levels of riders and increases the ability to offer more private lessons. All instructors are positive and share their enthusiasm and passion for horses.
We offer lessons to beginner, intermediate and advanced riders. Most beginner riders have not ridden a horse before and will start with private lessons to increase their learning and decrease the time to advance in the sport.
Group lessons are only available to regularly scheduled clients, and students who start first through private lessons regardless of riding ability.
Children start generally at age 6 years old depending on their physical and mental development. Horseback riding lessons for young children increases their confidence, creates discipline and independence while also building fitness. Explore the opportunity to make new friends and share their passion for horses.
University or college students find the sport of horseback riding relaxing and stress reducing, increasing the ability to focus and perform better at school. Students have the opportunity to meet new peers with similar interests and bond over the love of equestrian sport.
