Captain came to Trudder a few years ago, and what a great asset he has been to the riding school.
I had my eye on Captain for a long time, I knew his old owner and I used to see him at jumping compettions and always said I would love to own him and if he was ever for sale to let me know. He is a Bay gelding, 20 years old and 15.2hh.
Sure enough about a year later, he came up for sale as his owner was looking for a horse that could jump a little bigger. I was thrilled and jumped at the chance to buy him straight away.
Captain is the sweetest old man horse you’ll meet, he is really gentle around the kids and a pleasure to have around the yard. A real favourite amongst any ability of rider.
He goes out regularly to drag hunts, hunter trials and show jumping competitions to keep him interested and full of life!
